The NLP Easy Learning Toolkit
How to Learn NLP Easily in 8 Weeks
NLP is a big subject. Most people who are curious about it give up early, because nobody ever tells them where to start or what order to learn things in. This gives you that order.
Why Most People Never Get Started
Open any book on NLP and in the first fifty pages you will meet anchors, submodalities, meta models, eye patterns and a dozen competing schools. The material is not especially difficult. It just arrives all at once, in no useful order, and you are left working out what matters first.
This toolkit takes the same material and puts it in order. Eight weeks, one idea at a time, each building on the last. By the end you will understand what NLP is, how it fits together, and where you would go next.
The Eight Weeks
Four things covered every week. Weeks two to six are the five Ms: Mindset, Motivation, Messaging, Modelling, Mastery
Introduction to Change
Why some changes last and others fade after a week. The four laws behind every change that holds, and the attitude you need before any of it works.
- Why most change fades, and the attitude you need before any technique will work
- The Law of Consequences: every behaviour is held in place by what it costs and what it pays
- The Law of Equivalences: what you decide something means is what decides what you do
- Coherence and Value: change only holds when the rest of your life agrees with it and it matters enough
Mindset
How NLP actually thinks. The presuppositions it runs on, why they work as working assumptions, and which ones you will argue with at first.
- Where NLP came from, and what that tells you about what it can do
- The presuppositions, and how to run them as working assumptions
- The map is not the territory: you respond to your own model of the world
- Why mindset without direction goes nowhere, and what clarity really means
Motivation
Where drive actually comes from, why willpower runs out, and how to set an outcome your brain will move toward.
- Why knowing better so rarely changes what you do
- How your state drives your actions, and how to change it deliberately
- Well-formed outcomes: how to set something your brain will move toward
- Submodalities: changing the qualities of a memory changes how it feels
Messaging
The words people choose reveal how they built their world. Learn to hear what is underneath what is being said, and to say things in a way that lands.
- The three things people do to language: delete, distort and generalise
- Precision questions: how to find what was left out without interrogating anyone
- Chunking up and down to find the level where agreement is possible
- How presupposition works in ordinary speech, and why it persuades
Modelling
Excellence has a structure you can copy. How NLP takes apart what someone good at something is really doing, so you can run the same steps yourself.
- Strategies and complex behaviours: the steps underneath a skill
- Your perception is a projection: what you notice says a lot about you
- Calibration: reading how someone is thinking instead of guessing what they mean
- Why modelling starts with yourself
Mastery
How to learn anything faster by using the right strategy, and how to keep a skill once you have it.
- The Simple Success Strategy, and why simple wins for anything you repeat
- The Performance Accelerator: where the leverage is when you want an edge
- Think Big: how people who achieve unusual things think about size
- How people really change, and the story they tell about it
How to Get Results with NLP
Where the change actually happens. States, triggers, and the tools that change how an experience feels.
- You are already anchored to hundreds of things you never chose
- How anchors get set, stacked and fired
- How to change the way an experience feels
- What this looks like when you use it with another person
Next Steps
Putting the eight weeks together into a plan. What to learn next, in what order, and what it looks like to take this further.
- What you have built over eight weeks
- Where your gaps are, and which of them matter
- Why you practise on yourself first
- What a full practitioner path involves, and how to decide if you want one
Who This Is For
It's for you if…
- You keep hearing about NLP and want to understand what it actually is
- You've read a bit, or watched a few videos, and it hasn't joined up yet

- You're considering NLP training and want to know what you'd be getting into
It's probably not if…
